HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America)


Every year the Health Occupational Students of America (HOSA) organization hosts a blood drive for anyone who wants to volunteer to give blood.

Katrina Donnellan - 4th place in Pathophysiology
Amanda Brockway - 2nd place in Pharmacology
Stephanie Colvin - 3rd place in Rescue Breathing First Aid
Alisen Mullen - 2nd in place Medical Assisting Clinical
Megan Aldridge - 2nd place in Nursing Assisting
Tiffiney Brown - 3rd place in Sports Medicine
Thomas Saddington - 2nd in place Extemporaneous Speaking
Xinh Nguyen - got out HOSA Chapter recognized as outstanding HOSA Chapter in Area 1.

HOSA is a student organization that prepares students for health occupations fields. The Leander High School HOSA Chapter actively contributes to the community in many ways, such as volunteering for Special Olympics, Race for the Cure, organizing a bi-annual blood drive, and providing meals for the Ronald McDonald House.
